CAFE 80's and the Good Ol' Years

80’s is said to be the Disco era where it flaunted unique beats, interesting lyrics and instruments that sets the tone and makes you just want to get up and dance. All I can say is, it sure did. Well, not that I travelled back in time, but all thanks to CAFÉ 80’s for serving up 80’s realness at its best.

Located at 1 Ortigas Home Depot Complex, Juila Vargas Ave., Pasig City, Café 80’s was all about the finest things in the 80’s. From movies to music, it showcased hits after hits that had surely made its mark in history. When me and my friends decided to hang out at Café 80’s for a Friday night out (via invitation), I wasn't exactly sure what to expect since I was too young for the 80’s. I started sort of lost because it felt like I was on unfamiliar territory. Then next thing I knew, I was loving it here in Funkytown. All the good vibes and the fun beat were so contagious that I just can't get enough. Mixed with the best soundtracks from the 80's accentuated with the perfect backdrop of 80's memorabilia displayed all over the place, we were head over heels in this night of sweet dreams made of these.

And to top it all, the menu is superb. Serving up an entrée of American bar chow inspired by various cuisines, every dish is fit for a king. Appetizers, international noodles and rice meals are also made available for those who want to have a full stomach before taking a booze. Their drink selection is composed of beers, wines, cocktails, spirits, juices and sodas.

For someone who's mostly influenced by the 90's and the 20th century, I can say that bumpin' in the 80's was a lot of fun. We were really enjoying every second at Cafe 80's. It's truly one of the best spots to have fun and to just chill with your friends. And every Wednesday, the ladies are in for a big treat with Cafe 80's Ladies' Night from 5 to 7 PM. So next time you're feeling Blue Monday or simply just want to shake your groove thing, CAFE 80's is surely the place to be!
