Subic Pascha 2013: Passion and So Much More

With its diverse culture, cuisine and leisure activities, Subic Bay captivates local and foreign tourists anew with Subic Pascha 2013. Derived from the Greek word "pascha" meaning rebirth, experience all the glories of the Lenten Season with the Fun and Food Festival at the Subic Bay Boardwalk from March 26 to 31 and be amazed with a series of activities fit for the season.

This event, pioneered by Mr. Raymund Magdaluyo, also features something new to visitors like the Inflatable Playground, Film viewing of "Passion of the Christ," Car and Bike Display and Beach Volleyball and Football Exhibition Games among many others. While we religiously observe the Holy Week traditions, Good Friday is specially reserved for the traditional healing prayer and musical concert "Five Wounds of Jesus."  The festival will also feature Sub Projekt, DJ Matthew Carbonell, Jeff Citra and the Driven Band and True Faith among many well-known personalities that would add up to the highlights of the Lenten activities.

Subic Pascha Food and Fun Festival is organized by Clawdaddy Restaurant with the participation of various restaurants from Harbor Point together with Courage Asia, an organizing group specializing on food-related events, aimed at starting a tradition of a more energetic Easter Celebration. In the words of Mr. Raymund Magdaluyo, "We know that aside from it's a period to pray, but also a period for rebirth and regeneration."  Now you know, it's more fun-tastic in Subic.
